Center Stage is a class that offers a well-rounded theatre education including instruction in acting, vocals, and theatrical dance technique. Students will rehearse and perform scripted material. Our directors strive to create a nurturing environment where students can grow as performers and in Christ. Each semester concludes with a full scale production. This class is open to students aged 8 - 18.
Glow Brights is a class designed for our younger performers. With a focus on beginner-level theater concepts, this class provides a fun and interactive environment for students to explore their creativity and develop stage skills. Glow Bright students also perform in our full production at the end of the semester. This class is open to students aged 5 - 7.
This class is designed for students interested in the technical side of theater that takes place behind the scenes. Students will learn to bring design elements to life on stage. They will create props, set pieces, and be responsible for backstage organization. This class is open to students 12 - 18.
Students will build vocal skills that will transfer to the stage individually and with a group. Students will work on implementing movement and facial and body expression. They will also learn breathing techniques, pitch control, and harmonization. Choir will perform during the semester's showcase and during pre-shows. This class is open to students aged 10 - 18.
Students will develop music and vocal skills while having fun using age appropriate and engaging material. This will help students build confidence and experience the joy of singing with a group. Jr. Show Choir will perform during the semester's showcase. This class is open to students aged 5 - 9.
This class is designed for both advanced and beginner students. Students will acquire skill in theatrical choreography in a group setting, while learning musicality, rhythmic movement, and expression. Our choreography students perform during the semester's showcase and pre-shows. This class is open to students aged 10 - 18.
Advanced and beginner level students are welcome in this class as goals are tailored to fit each individual's level of learning. Students will learn basic chords, island strumming, chucking and finger picking. They will enjoy online play alongs and read chord charts to play acapella. This class performs at the semester's showcase and preshows. Student's own ukulele required. Ukulele class is open to students aged 10 - 18. Younger students may be placed in the class on a case by case basis with instructor's approval.
"Our mask" in French, is an opportunity for students who want to further develop their performance skills with more personal instruction that isn't always possible during Center Stage. Students may participate in solo or group performances where they are encouraged to be creative in developing their own blocking, choreography, and costuming while receiving constructive critique and mentoring from the instructor. Students will also be a part of a full-class performance directed by the instructor to further develop their skills in musical theater. This class will perform at the semester's showcase as well as pre-shows. Notre Masque is open to students aged 12 - 18.
A registration fee of $65.00 for students ages 8-18 or $45 for students ages 5-7 is required upon enrollment.
His Way Broadway is a drop off program. Families are only required to volunteer for two shifts during show week.
Families receive 5% off tuition for additional children enrolled in the His Way Broadway Program.
If tuition is paid in full by the first day of class, families receive a 5% discount.
Each family is required to sell two separate ads or $90 total in ad sales for our playbill. These can include business or shout out ads. 50% of any sales over the requirement may be applied to tuition.
Performance based classes, as well as our main production may require items such as jazz shoes, appropriate undergarments, His Way Broadway T-shirt, black pants, etc. Those items are not included in a student's tuition and must be provided by families.
